Marc Sussman, the host and executive producer of Marc Sussman's Money Message (formerly Green
America) is a 29 year veteran of the financial services industry, but don’t hold that against him.
A professional history with firms like Equitable Life, John Hancock, E.F Hutton, Merrill Lynch, and Fidelity Investments give him an in-depth understanding of the insurance, brokerage and mutual fund industry, and make him uniquely prepared and qualified to advocate for the investor.
Today he’s an independent, certified financial planner, and independent is the key word…and he’s ready to spread that word. His priorities? Integrity, family, spirituality, and social conscience - and the financial issues that affect all of the above. He has spent the last 10 years as an endorsed financial planner to the Workmen’s Circle, a Jewish fraternal organization over 100 years old, that stands for the principles of social and economic justice.
His spiritual path ultimately led him to a different investment orientation, one that is socially responsible. “We have to live with integrity, and demand the same from the people we do business with. What we stand for as people, and where we place our investment dollars should be consistent.” Ultimately, what he develops are financial strategies that are profitable and have social integrity.
Above all, he wants to make a difference in people’s lives, and although financial security is always important, he has come to the realization that a substantial portfolio - of relationships - is true wealth. |
