Marc Sussman's Money Message is a unique financial show. Our goals are twofold: to provide answers to your important personal financial questions, and to focus on the critical social issues of today that affect all of us.  We are concerned with the tough problems that we face - how to educate our children with costs spiraling, how to provide healthcare for our families when the costs are out of reach, how to ensure a secure retirement when our corporate pension system is crumbling and our social security safety net is in danger. And yet, in the face of this uncertainty, we contribute to the problem - we are the only developed nation in the world with a negative personal savings rate.

Something is clearly very wrong.

To provide personal investment advice, and ignore the larger issues, would be to fiddle, and allow Rome to burn.

And so we try to live day to day, but think in terms of generations. The goal - to change the bottom-line driven, dollars and cents mentality of corporate America, and of our more than cooperative government leadership. Ultimately we must question our basic human nature that is at the root of all of these problems.

The show is a mix of information, news stories, and interesting guests who come from all walks of life, with one thing in common - they challenge the status quo and the assumptions that we make about our lives, the way we live them, and the impact that our decisions have on the world around us.
